Green Spa Network will bring leaders from across the spa, wellness, hospitality and sustainability sectors together for the 2026 GSN Sustainability Summit, taking place September 13 to 16 at Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, Arizona.
Set within the Sonoran Desert, the annual gathering will combine industry education, sustainable brand discovery, wellness experiences and conversations focused on the relationship between human wellbeing, environmental responsibility and long-term business success.
Saddle Up for Sustainability
The 2026 Summit theme, “Saddle Up,” reflects Green Spa Network’s call for the industry to move beyond conversation and take meaningful action.
GSN President Diane Trieste describes the theme as an invitation to “be brave enough to jump into the saddle, look ahead, and ride into the unknown together,” encouraging attendees to take bold steps and help plant the seeds of change.
Coordinated by Spa Collab, the three-day program will explore regenerative design, human sustainability, longevity, leadership and sustainable hospitality through its Frontier Forum speaker series and experiential programming.
Featured speakers include Shira Adler, presenting Beyond Sustainability: Cultivating Regenerative Places That Help People & Planet Flourish; Eva Maurice, presenting Human Sustainability: The Four Bodies of Sustainable Success; and Debra Hope Duneier, Founder of EcoChi® and Feng Shui Master, who will explore the connection between people, place and wellbeing.
Dr. Kathryn Dundas, longevity physician and founder of Sublime Life, will present Longevity Reimagined: The Science of Living Well Longer. She will also lead The Horse as Mirror, an experiential program that examines leadership, presence, resilience, and connection through guided interaction with horses.
Sustainability Across Hospitality
Collaboration across the spa and hospitality ecosystem will also be a central theme.
The panel Shared Responsibility: Sustainability Across the Hospitality Ecosystem will examine how spas, resorts, suppliers, designers and wellness professionals can work together to create meaningful and measurable change.
Panellists include Jessica Swartley of The Spa at Spruce Peak; Jeanine Allpress Cliffe of TLEE Spas + Wellness; Manon Hussein of Derme&Co; Erica Coble of Living Earth Crafts; and Daniel Spencer, Vice President of Spa & Wellness for Agua Caliente Casinos.
Wellness Under the Stars
The Arizona setting will also play an important role in the Summit experience.
Against the expansive Sonoran Desert sky, attendees will take part in Desert After Dark, an evening of telescope stargazing designed to encourage reflection, connection and a deeper appreciation of the natural environment.
The experience reflects the growing role of astrotourism and stargazing in wellness travel, where dark skies, quiet environments and time spent observing the night sky are increasingly being incorporated into restorative travel experiences.
Additional Summit programming will include morning wellness activities, horse-led experiences, campfire conversations and opportunities to explore Tanque Verde Ranch.
The event will also feature the annual GSN Auction, with donated spa products, wellness experiences and travel opportunities supporting Green Spa Network and its sustainability initiatives.
For spa and wellness professionals, the Summit offers an opportunity to exchange ideas, discover sustainable solutions and consider how the industry can create healthier experiences for guests, employees, communities and the planet.
