Henderson Beach Resort in Destin, Florida, has appointed Zita Alexander as Spa Director of The Henderson Spa.
Alexander brings more than a decade of experience in luxury spa management, operations, team development and revenue growth. In her new role, she will oversee the resort’s spa operations and help guide the continued evolution of its wellness programming and guest experiences.
Most recently, Alexander served as Director of Spa and Operations for Pure Harmony Med Spa and Integration Spa in Jacksonville, Florida, where she managed two locations and supported growth in service and retail revenue.
She previously held the position of Director of Spa Operations at JW Marriott Charlotte, increasing departmental revenue by more than 40 percent within four months. Her experience also includes managing the Forbes Five-Star spa and salon at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, where she led a team of more than 60 employees.
Throughout her career, Alexander has focused on improving guest experiences, developing high-performing teams and strengthening operational performance. She holds a degree in Hospitality Management and is also a licensed massage therapist and esthetician.
