  • warm up

    Prepare for exercise or an athletic event by stretching or practicing beforehand. Warming up the muscles and joints can help mobility, and prevent injury.

  • watsu

    Watsu is a blend of water and shiatsu. Supple movement combined with the warm pool increases the efficiency of the massage and creates a soothing atmosphere.

  • waxing

    Depilatory process involving application of warm wax. A strip of cloth is quickly pulled from the skin to remove hair from the root, leaving skin smooth for weeks. Hair re-growth is more fine and sparse.

  • weight training

    Free weights or weight machines used in a series of repetitive exercise tone the body, add or replace lean muscle mass and raise metabolism.
