Montreal-based skincare leader G.M. COLLIN has introduced its new Puractive+ Essential Oil Complex, a fast-acting treatment designed to help reduce the appearance of breakouts while calming and refining the skin.
Available in both 10ml and 50ml formats, the aqueous formula combines salicylic acid, essential oils, and aloe vera to exfoliate, purify, and soothe oily or blemish-prone skin. Key ingredients include geranium, lavender, rosemary, camphor, and cypress essential oils, alongside aloe vera juice extract.
According to G.M. COLLIN, the product can be used as:
- A serum for oily skin
- A targeted spot treatment
- A pre- and post-extraction treatment
- A skin preparation step before waxing
Clinical evaluations conducted over 14 days on 30 volunteers reported:
- 86% noticed purified skin, with up to 77% reduction in sebum
- 93% noticed clearer-looking skin
- 90% noticed mattified skin
The formula is recommended for morning and/or evening use and may be reapplied throughout the day.
