The Spa Experience
Skʌ:nʌ́, the Oneida word for peace, offers a restorative retreat within The Lodge at Turning Stone in Verona, New York. A co-ed therapeutic mineral pool anchors the experience, while steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, relaxation lounges and well-appointed locker areas encourage guests to linger before and after treatments. Fruit-infused water, tea and light refreshments are available, and Skʌ:nʌ́ Café provides a comfortable place for a leisurely meal.

Treat Yourself
The menu blends contemporary therapies with botanicals and ingredients that hold meaning within Oneida culture. The Sage & White Pine Hot Towel Massage combines flowing massage, aromatic oils and steaming towels. Sage is associated with clarity and relaxation, while white pine is recognized as the Great Tree of Peace.
The Signature Sage and Salt Stone Massage uses warm Himalayan salt stones and sage oil, while the Skʌ:nʌ́ Harmony Massage pairs sunflower and jasmine with rhythmic strokes. Guests seeking targeted bodywork can choose the Oneida Custom Massage or Arnica Muscle Repair Massage.
Balancing rituals are among the spa’s most distinctive experiences. Yohutsya:té:, meaning From the Earth, combines mineral-rich mud, a thermal mineral bath and a light sage massage. The Standing Stone Herbal Remedy includes an evergreen and bergamot soak, verbena exfoliation and hydrating jojoba body butter. Leaves and Flowers incorporates botanical exfoliation, a mineral bath and aromatherapy massage.
Skincare ranges from customized Skʌ:nʌ́ Signature Facials to dermaplaning, vitamin C treatments and Hydrafacial services. Body treatments, prenatal care, couples’ rituals, manicures, pedicures and salon services round out the menu. Enhancements such as a sunflower and mint foot treatment or strawberry sugar scrub make it easy to personalize the day.
