Everwild Canmore Nordic Spa & Hotel has appointed Cecilia Rickman as Spa Manager, bringing extensive international experience in spa operations, holistic wellness, guest experience and team development to the growing Alberta wellness destination.
In her new role, Rickman will oversee spa operations, guest experience, wellness programming and team development while helping shape the continued evolution of Everwild’s holistic wellness offerings.
Rickman began her career as an elite-level personal trainer before expanding her focus into holistic health and wellness. She studied holistic health, nutrition, detoxification and spa management at a private institute in England and later became a Certified Health Coach and Holistic Nutritionist through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She has also completed additional studies in spa management and business.
Her career has included leadership roles with corporate and boutique luxury spas in Europe, the United States and Canada. She has overseen multi-location spa operations, mentored spa leaders across North America and worked with internationally recognized hospitality brands, luxury hotels and wellness destinations.
Throughout her career, Rickman has maintained a strong belief in the connection between nature and wellbeing, making Everwild’s philosophy a natural fit.
“What drew me to Everwild was its thoughtful approach to wellness and the belief that meaningful restoration begins with reconnecting to nature,” says Rickman. “I’m passionate about creating experiences that are intentional, deeply restorative, and leave a lasting impact on how our guests feel, both physically and mentally. I’m incredibly excited to bring that passion to Everwild and help shape experiences that support the mind, body, and spirit.”
Everwild Continues to Expand
Everwild Canmore Nordic Spa & Hotel opened in November 2025 as the first destination in Everwild’s growing Nordic wellness portfolio. Within months of opening, the property was recognized among the Top 100 Spas of 2025 by Spas of America.
The brand is now entering a significant period of expansion, with additional Nordic spa destinations underway in Fernie, Banff and Harmony, west of Calgary, along with a growing pipeline of future locations planned across North America.
Backed by Basecamp Resorts’ hospitality and real estate platform, Everwild is developing a new generation of destination Nordic spas that combine expansive thermal experiences, wellness programming, thoughtful hospitality, and curated culinary offerings.
