Wellnessing Getaway, Grand Velas Los Cabos

The 2026 Wellnessing Getaway concludes June 18–21 at Grand Velas Los Cabos, where the dramatic meeting of desert landscapes and the Sea of Cortez creates a striking backdrop for renewal, reflection, and movement. Part of the annual Velas Resorts wellness series, the Los Cabos edition brings together an international collective of wellness leaders for a restorative experience inspired by the rhythms of nature, mindful living, and intentional connection.

The retreat opens with a Four Elements Welcome Dinner beneath the stars, setting the tone for several days of immersive wellness programming. Senior yoga teacher Izzy Martens leads Vinyasa flow sessions throughout the retreat, while barre and Hot Pilates classes are guided by Perla Martínez. Wellness educator Dr. Robin Barrett presents longevity workshops focused on evidence-based health and sustainable daily routines.

Additional experiences include aquatic movement and water cycling, led by former Mexican Olympic Committee trainer Cintya Ventura, as well as dance and family fitness sessions hosted by international presenter Loretta Bates. Guests can also enjoy breathwork, ice bath experiences, skincare workshops, DJ-led bonfire gatherings, and a closing Wellness Party.

Timed to coincide with the Summer Solstice, the retreat features a Floating Sound Bath at Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos, followed by an oceanfront sound-healing experience led by Jeny Dawson at the neighboring Mar del Cabo by Velas Resorts. Guests staying at both Grand Velas Los Cabos and Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos enjoy reciprocal access to the sister properties, creating a seamless wellness experience across the Baja coastline.
