Welcome:
Majestic mountains surround Alberta’s legendary Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, situated at 3,400 feet elevation in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Built in 1923, this sprawling luxury property on the shores of jade-green Lac Beauvert, besides being a superb romantic getaway, offers easy access to a wealth of wilderness activities year-round.
You Are Here:
Drive 3½ to 4½ hours from either Edmonton (via the Trans-Canada Hwy) or Calgary (via the scenic Icefields Parkway). Luxury Motor Coach Charters offers bus service; train service is available through VIA Rail or the Rocky Mountaineer.
Treat Yourself:
The Spa was inspired by the natural elements of Jasper National Park. Its design reflects the bracing air, evergreen forests, mountain vistas and rushing waters that surround it. The 10,000-square-foot spa boasts 10 treatment rooms, two couples massage rooms with Jacuzzis, therapeutic mineral baths, rain showers and deluxe glacial-inspired steam rooms. From a fir-infused stone massage to a maple-butter body wrap, deluxe treatments here will encourage you to slow your pace, breathe deeply and reflect on Nature’s grandeur. Facilities include health club with heated outdoor pool.
You Deserve:
Alpine Infusion. The aroma of pine and fir needles, reminiscent of Jasper’s wooded trails, distinguishes this energizing treatment, which includes a grain body mask, wrap and gentle exfoliation. After a shower, a relaxing, fir-infused massage is performed with warm stones, followed by a marma-point (Ayurvedic) facial massage.
Stay & Play:
The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge offers cozy, well-appointed accommodations to suit all tastes, whether in the lodge proper or one of the luxury Signature Cabins. Multiple dining options range from take-out hot chocolate (Fitzhugh’s to Go) to world-class cuisine served fireside (the Moose’s Nook). Children 12 and under may choose from a special menu or enjoy regular items at half price. Even better, kids 5 and under eat for free! And appetites will be huge after outdoor adventures such as unrivaled skiing at nearby Marmot Basin, snowshoeing, ice skating, cross-country skiing or—in summer months—canoeing, kayaking, golf and so much more. In any season, watch for special events and fabulous spa packages.
