Pala Time Giveaway - Rules & Regulations
1. The “Pala Time Giveaway” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Pala Casino Resort & Spa and is administered by Spas of America.
2. Participation in the “Pala Time Giveaway” Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Official Rules including the decisions of Pala Casino Resort & Spa and Spas of America which are final on all matters relating to the Contest.
3. By entering the Contest, entrants give us permission to send them administration emails throughout the length of the Contest. If the entrant opts-out of these administration emails, their entry into the Contest will be removed. The entrant will have the opportunity to opt-out of future special offerings from Spas of America and Pala Casino Resort & Spa without penalty.
4. Pala Casino Resort & Spa or Spas of America does not and will not sell or rent users’ non-aggregated specific personal information to third party companies.
5. A contest entry for the Contest will be generated for each person who registers between 12:01 am on June 15, 2010 and 11:59 pm on August 31, 2010. Limit of one entry per person.
6. The Contest is open to all residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are of the age of majority in their province or state of residence. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, agents or representatives (including family members) of Pala Casino Resort & Spa or any of its subsidiaries, affiliates and suppliers (including Spas of America), advertising/PR agencies, and agents to enter the Contest or to be awarded the prize.
7. No purchase is required for entry into the contest.
8. There are three Grand Prizes to be won that include a one-night (Thursday-Sunday) stay, a romantic dinner for two at Mama’s Cucina Italiana and treatment for two at Pala’s world-class Spa. Total prize value: $500.00 USD. Transportation is not included.
9. There are five secondary prizes to be won of dinner for two at Mama’s Cucina Italiana. Prize value: $100.00 USD.
10. Grand prize must be taken on or before January 31, 2011. Taxes, surcharges and gratuities are extra. Holidays are excluded, and some restrictions apply. Bonus nights may not be combined with other offers.
11. A representative from Spas of America will randomly select the winner from the database of contest entries on September 1, 2010 at 3:00 pm EST. The odds of winning will vary according to the number of qualified entries received during the Contest period.
12. Unless otherwise specified, the prizes do not include airfare, meals, telephone charges and incidentals. The prizes have no cash value. Award is void where prohibited by law. No purchase of products is necessary to participate in the Contest. This offer is made in compliance with the laws in the jurisdiction in which it is made.
13. The selected entrant will be required to answer a skill-testing question, to claim their prize.
14. The selected entrant will be contacted by email. Attempts will be made to contact the selected entrant at the telephone number listed in the database between 9 am and 9 pm PST for a period of 10 working days. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within the allotted time, he/she is no longer eligible to win and another entrant will be drawn and the process of contacting the new selected entrant will then be repeated. The selected entrant will be required to complete, sign and return, within 7 days of the receipt of same, a declaration which provides personal information and a release of Pala Casino Resort & Spa & Spas of America, its affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies from any liability resulting from the awarding of the prize, confirming acceptance of the prize as awarded, and giving permission to Pala Casino Resort & Spa and its agencies to use the winner’s name and photograph without further compensation in any upcoming publicity. If a selected entrant fails to complete, sign and return the release from within 7 days, Pala Casino Resort & Spa reserves the right to void that entry and select another eligible entrant for the prize.
15. The prizes must be accepted as awarded, and no substitutions, transfers or conversions will be allowed, unless at the discretion of Pala Casino Resort & Spa, which may substitute a prize of comparable or greater value. All entries become the property of Pala Casino Resort & Spa and Spas of America and will not be returned. Pala Casino Resort & Spa and Spas of America assumes no responsibility for lost, invalid, delayed or misdirected entries.
16. By entering, entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of Pala Casino Resort & Spa and Spas of America, which are final. By accepting a prize, the winner authorizes Pala Casino Resort & Spa and Spas of America to announce and publish the winner’s name, address, voice, comments and photograph without compensation, in any publicity carried out by Pala Casino Resort & Spa, and Spas of America.
