Carol Johnson Named Publisher of Spa Magazine
Bonnier Corp. has appointed Carol Johnson as the
new publisher of Spa magazine. Johnson has been publisher of Bonnier
sister title, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons for the past four
years, and brings more than 20 year of sales experience on lifestyle
brands. She will also remain publisher of Destination Weddings &
Honeymoons.
"Carol
has a great history of connecting clients to consumers in the lifestyle
category. She understands this market and her leadership will be seen
by our award-winning editorial team and our marketing clients," said
Ernie Renzulli, VP, Group Publisher of Bonnier's Travel Group.

working with the wellness industry," said Johnson. "The Spa brand is
uniquely positioned to inspire those looking for that healthy life
experience."
Johnson has been associated with the travel and lifestyle category for her entire career.
Her
work in the travel service business began in the mid 1980s with Ogilvy
& Mather Direct (now Ogilvy One). Among her clients was American
Express. She went on to do extensive work in Latin America and the
Caribbean before joining the magazine side of the business with work on
Caribbean Travel & Life, Islands and Sport Diver. She was named
publisher of Destination Weddings & Honeymoons in 2007.
