Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd. has announced the appointment of Amelia Hill as area spa director of its two Florida Keys properties – Little Palm Island Resort & Spa and Ocean Key Resort & Spa. Little Palm Island has long been heralded as one of the most exclusive and desirable island retreats in the world and is considered to be the crown jewel of the Noble House portfolio. Located in the heart of Key West on Zero Duval Street, Ocean Key offers the perfect balance of excitement, relaxation and luxury. In her new role, Hill will oversee all operational and service aspects of SpaTerre at both locations.

With experience spanning over 17 years in the spa and salon industry, Hill first joined Noble House as spa director of Little Palm Island in January 2017.  Since then, she has increased the resort’s spa revenue, improved guest survey scores, and added new spa menu items to enhance the overall guest experience.

“Amelia’s proven track record of success since joining Noble House has quickly propelled her to her current leadership role,” said Matt Trahan, vice president and regional managing director of Noble House in Florida.  “With her extensive knowledge of the industry and previous experience working at luxury spas, we look forward to having Amelia take both spas to new levels of success.”

Prior to Little Palm Island, Hill served as spa director at Sunset Key Cottages in Key West, as well as spa supervisor at Pier House Resort and Caribbean Spa.  Hill also worked for several other resort spas in her hometown of Asheville, North Carolina before moving to the Keys.  Throughout her spa career, she has co-owned a salon and spa, worked as an artistic educator and also worked as a sales and business consultant for Saloncentric.

SpaTerre, the signature spa of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, exists solely to promote health and wellbeing for the mind, body and soul.  Guests can look forward to relaxing with a combination of luxurious native and East Asian rituals and savor traditional techniques, indigenous herbs, exotic oils and purifying clays.  Signature treatments at Ocean Key include the Volcanic Earth Clay Ritual and the Tropical Essence Massage, while Little Palm Island offers the Javanese Royal Treatment, the Sugar Body Polish, and the floating Madrugada Water Massage, a transformative experience in which the guest lies comfortably on a massage table surrounded by the ocean.
